Made of durable polycarbonate plastic. Strobes are used as warning lights and in emergency situations to attract attention. They are easily visible in broad daylight. The lens and body unscrew to allow replacement of the flash tube. This version is powered by 120VAC and uses a 1/2" male NPT base.
